Joan Peters Gallery

I love Plein Air painting and Florida is such a wonderful place for this pursuit.  Here we can paint outdoors most days.

I enjoy beach and water scenes, some are serene and some are stormy.

I also enjoy painting old buildings, some of which have already been torn down.  It is a way for me to record the history of the area.

After visiting a Highwaymen exhibit in Palmetto, I got so excited, I could hardly wait to go back home and produce my own rendition.  Here is a sunset 12 x 12
